REFLECTION OF THE CLASS

        This English Literature class has been invaluable and unforgettable for me. I have learned about many authors, other than Edgar Allan Poe, like William Faulkner, Gabriel García Márquez, John Updike and other contemporary authors like Charlie Fish and Ellen Lee DeGeneres. Even though I had heard of them, I learned more about them this class increased my knowledge about them. I really enjoyed this class and all the readings because they're really interesting. The most I liked was "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Poe and "The Funny Thing Is..."  by Ellen. I feel that I understood the readings pretty well. Also, I really liked the open discussions we had almost everyday and the fun assignments that where based on the stories. Prof. Helvia Guzmán, you were excellent because I think you're one of the few professors that would try to make the whole class participate and make it fun through the whole course. I don't think that there's has to be any change on the way that the class is given, right now, it is perfect. Thanks for the funny moments! Haha! Hope you have a excellent summer!
